What do Self, Others, and Refused mean?

Your profile shows three reputation boxes — Self, Others, and Refused — each measuring something different.

How it works

  • •Self — Your own self-assessment; how you rate yourself
  • •Others — The average of accepted ratings from verified users
  • •Refused — Ratings you chose not to accept into your public reputation

Important things to know

  • •'Not Rated Yet' appears inside the Others box until you have accepted ratings — it's simply a temporary status, not a score
  • •Self ratings are private and set by you
  • •Others scores come only from accepted peer ratings
  • •Refused ratings don't count toward your Dating Rank or Others score

Tips & Best Practices

  • •Be honest in your self-assessment
  • •Encourage matches to rate you after eligible interactions
  • •Review refused ratings carefully — Negotiation may be better than refusing
  • •Your Others score grows as you accumulate accepted ratings
